Stone of Hope

Sun streams through the stones set behind the Martin Luther King MLK Memorial in Washington, D.C., at the Tidal Basin.
The monument currently reads “I was a drum major for justice, peace and righteousness.” This rendition of Dr. King’s quote has recently gone through controversy and is reported to be changed to something a bit less imposing. The newer quote will read something like “If I was a drum major, I was a drum major for peace.”
If the monument inscription does change, the above photo will be one of the few to display this quote.

Wonderful composition Navin. Are we seeing politically correct, revisionist history taking place here?
Mark – thanks for your comment. Perhaps we are!!
